Know if it worksbefore you film it.

Paste your channel. vidger reads what you've published, finds the formats already breaking out in your niche, and hands you ten ideas ranked by predicted views. Then it scores anything else you were thinking of making.

The problem

You find out after you publish. That's too late.

A video costs you a week. Scripting, filming, editing, packaging. Then you upload it and the data finally arrives — and by then the week is gone. Every analytics tool on the market is an autopsy. None of them stop you making the wrong video in the first place.

Start from your channel

One link. vidger reads your last fifty videos, works out your real median, your trajectory and the formats you've already proven, then matches them against what's breaking out in your niche right now.

Pick from ten ranked ideas

Not generic trends. Ideas filtered to fit what your audience already comes to you for, each with a predicted view range and the evidence behind it.

Score, package, film

Got your own idea? Score it. Strong ones move on to titles and packaging. Weak ones get fixed or killed before they cost you the week.

What you get

A number you can check.

A score you can't verify is just an opinion with a decimal point. Everything vidger says comes with the videos it learned it from.

Every verdict shows its evidence

Under each score sit the videos where this format already broke out, on channels close to your size, not on MrBeast. You see the multiplier, how fresh the format is, and how many different creators it worked for. A format that worked once is luck. A format that worked for six channels is a repeatable play.

Titles judged the same way as ideas

vidger writes ten titles for the idea you scored, using the packaging of the breakouts in your niche as its reference — the price contrast, the admission of failure, the specific number. Each option goes back through the same formula, so you get a score next to it rather than a list to guess from.

Your ideas stay, and they teach it

Every idea you score is saved with its packaging and, once you publish, with what actually happened. After six months it stops being a generic tool and becomes a record of what works on your channel specifically. Nothing you can export from a competitor replaces that.

It keeps score of itself

Every prediction is stored. When the video goes live, vidger pulls the real numbers and compares. You see how often it lands inside the range it promised — for your channel, not in a marketing claim. If the tool stops being useful, you'll know before we do.

Straight answers

What vidger won't tell you.

Other tools sell numbers they can't possibly have. Here's exactly where the data ends, so you know what you're paying for.

No click-through rate

YouTube doesn't publish CTR, impressions or retention for anyone else's videos. Nobody has that data. Any tool promising to predict a stranger's CTR is inventing it.

A range, not a promise

You get a floor and a ceiling for a channel your size. A strong score means the odds are with you, not that the video is safe. Anyone selling certainty about YouTube is selling something else.

A few niches, done properly

Depth beats coverage. vidger supports a short list of niches with full daily history rather than all of YouTube at a useless depth. If yours isn't live, vote for it and you'll get a free month when it is.

The best thing this tool will ever do for you is invisible. It's the video you didn't make.

That's also the hardest thing to sell, which is why every prediction gets checked against reality and shown back to you. You should be able to see what you're paying for.

Stop finding out after you publish.

Paste your channel and see the ten ideas it gives you. Ten seconds, no card, and you'll know within a minute whether the scores match your instinct.

How it works

Statistics, not vibes.

vidger doesn't ask a language model what it thinks of your idea. It measures your idea against a database of what already happened in your niche, using seven components with fixed weights. Here's all of it.

Your channel median

Median views across your last thirty videos. This is the base the prediction is built from, which is why the range for a 20k channel looks nothing like the range for a 500k one.

20%

Outlier multiplier

How many times over their own median similar videos went in your niche. A format that regularly does 6× is a different proposition from one that does 1.4×.

22%

Format age

Weeks since the format first spiked. Under two weeks it's unproven. Two to eight is the window. After that it's a format you're late to, and the score drops accordingly.

15%

Saturation

How many videos in that format shipped in the last four weeks. Too few and it isn't proven. Too many and it's burnt out. Both ends of that curve lower the score.

13%

Fit to your channel

How far the topic drifts from what you normally publish. YouTube punishes drift harder than most creators expect, and this is the single most common reason a good idea underperforms on the wrong channel.

15%

Channel trajectory

Whether you're growing or sliding over ninety days. Predicting from a flat median on a declining channel overstates every number, so this corrects it.

8%

Velocity

How fast comparable videos gathered views in their first days, not their lifetime total. YouTube's API only gives a running counter, so this only exists because vidger has been taking daily snapshots since before you signed up.

7%

Where the data comes from

Public data, collected properly.

Official API, daily

Every tracked channel in every supported niche is refreshed once a day through YouTube's official API. No scraping shortcuts, no grey-area data.

Our own history

The API gives you a lifetime view counter and nothing else. vidger stores a daily snapshot of every video, which is how it can tell a format that's rising from one that peaked a month ago.

Your channel stays yours

Connecting a channel is read-only and optional. Without it you still get scores and evidence, just benchmarked against the niche rather than against your own median.

The part nobody else does

Every prediction gets marked.

A prediction you never check isn't a prediction, it's a horoscope. When a scored video goes live, vidger pulls the real numbers and files them against what it promised. You see the hit rate, the median error, and how many ideas you dropped because of a low score.

31predictions checked
4ideas dropped after a low score

This is also the honest answer to "why keep paying". Not because the tool is clever, but because you can see what it saved you.

Questions people ask first

How accurate is the score?+
It predicts a range, not a number, and it's most reliable when your niche is well covered and your channel has at least twenty videos of history. Every plan above Free shows a running accuracy report comparing past predictions to what the videos actually did, so you can judge it yourself rather than take our word for it.
How is this different from vidIQ or TubeBuddy?+
Those tools work after the video exists — keywords, tags, descriptions, optimisation. vidger works before it exists. Different moment, different job. Plenty of people use both.
Do I have to connect my channel?+
Only if you want the range calibrated to your own median. Without it you still get the score, the evidence and the packaging, benchmarked against the niche instead of against you. Access is read-only, and you can disconnect at any time.
Does it work for Shorts?+
Yes, scored separately from long-form, because the two behave nothing alike. Mixing them into one benchmark is what makes most channel analytics useless.
My niche isn't listed. What now?+
Vote for it when you sign up. Niches go live in the order creators ask for them, and you get a free month of Creator when yours does.
What happens if I cancel?+
You drop to Free at the end of the period and keep read access to your idea bank. Nothing is deleted. Annual plans are refunded pro rata in the first thirty days.
Is it useful if I'm starting a channel from scratch?+
Yes, through the no-channel mode. You get scores benchmarked to the niche rather than your own history, which is exactly what you need when deciding what kind of channel to build.
